SP is fine. Better (I think) if you played the first one. MP is still alive on all formats. It's my favorite MP. It's still breathing.

I might get standard. Is MP on standard better then Battlefield 3, i got it for free with that code, if its not better, there isn't much point in buying BC2, though destructible environment is nice

Get standard, I didn't realize the maps were free for PC. Specact shit is useless. I didn't care for BF3 at all. BC2 almost lost me with all of its glitches, but they finally got most of them. ...Or I just got used to it. BC2 is special. I wish i could put my finger on why that is, but it is. I think that's why there hasn't been a sequel yet for fear they'll screw up the franchise. Just speculation.

Same here, BC 2 was on steam sale, if you buy it on steam, you get it on both steam and origin. I voted FIFA 12 as well hoping to get into this genre...But no idea why this happened...
