It's a "remastered" version or basically the ugly filter like they did with Simon the sorcerer 1 and 2.

But it's only 1,35 euro and all the languages, legacy (original no filter) editions, extra's and soundtrack are free as a DLC.

Simon the sorcerer 3 is also out and a small sale (it's very underrated, if you can get past the clunky 3d, it's actually a nice game).

Yeah true, don't think they got the remastered version though, and the original is still free as DLC, don't think you could go wrong for that money.

But if you are happy with the freeware version, people should go for it.

It's not "freeware". It's the orignal full game that is provided free by gog.

Also: "and the original is still free as DLC". It ain't free if you have to buy the remaster. It is included for the price.

Not exactly expensive, I grant you, but honestly why pay that price when the original is still very much playable and free (and DRM free to boot).

But freeware is a fully functioning software, it isn't a demo, shareware was, it's technically called freeware too, once it's became free on GOG, i could be wrong though?

I just meant you don't have to pay extra for the DLC like some games would milk it.

Some might like the filter, some might like their stuff on steam.

Atleast it's not as expensive as dragonsphere that has not even have any differences then the GOG version, i am just throwing it out there, everyone is free to choose if they find the GOG version enough or not. :)
