Have you opted in to the beta?

It happens once for me
it asks for update restart restarted then asked for another restart
both are for the same update date...
not sure about the changes in both updates it could be duplicated update
you have nothing to worry about

happened to me this morning

I had it too.But its just duplicate i think,cause many hours after it i did not have another update.

Its a known bug in the beta. (They tend to fix this bug rather quickly but keep reintroducing it in almost every beta update xD )

For me steam is causing excessive load times for my games...If I switch to offline mode they start up normally. Started about the same time as the multiple updates and your post.
