Lol - You cannot add contribution value to your CV. You CAN add only that you voulanteered to some charity and co-work with them.
As for employer I would like at it and think - He/She had nothing to write about to he/she had to write about some giveaways. Sad.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about :P For a while there, I was reading CV as curriculum Vitae, and getting really confused... then I realized it was contributor value lol.
Anyway, Some don't contribute anything and expect the world, so be happy!:)

I have been reading couples of statements on SG about giving away games to increase CV is a wrong thing to do.
Before any of you say sth like I don't even have a lot of CV comparing to many others on this site, I did not ever say that I was taking pride in a high CV.
I like to have something I'm proud of, it might be how much money in my bank account, or my GPA, or even my loved ones. The same goes to my contribution value. I honestly expect nothing in return except a constructive criticism about a quiz or a giveaway puzzle I made. But I also privately take pride in how much I have given away, the more games the better. I am one of those who likes to be called a philanthropist, a nice guy, someone who cares for others. (if you want to argue about doing that does not make me a saint, someone who is completely for the people, I would argue that I never said I wanted to be an altruist and a philanthropist doesn't have to be one either.
Being able to enter more giveaways is an additional benefits, but nothing compares to being able to make giveaways to a great community. I understand the hate for the leechers, but I don't think others who also value their CV would appreciate the hate.
Ps:/ in a way, I masturbate to my CV.
Also, I'm looking for a nice Jazz album, any suggestion? doesn't matter if it's a classic or something new.
