A fun, magical trip in a strange land, definitely recommended to gamers that appreciate good writing.

A labor of love by Jonas Kyratzes (The Talos Principle) and his wife Verena.

The Sea Will Claim Everything with 90% discount

But if it leaves 10%, then does it truly claim everything?

Maybe it's claiming everything that's on a 90% discount? Sort of like all of us haha.

So what you're saying is, the Sea bargain shops?
Well, I guess that would explain Aquaman.

One of my absolute favourite games, certainly one of my favourite point-and-clicks. Incredible writing, incredible music, and absolutely one of those experiences that can change how you think and who you are as a person, if you're the right sort. (And honestly, if you're considering buying a scribbly indie adventure game with dense, whimsical writing, you are already probably the right sort.)

I constantly try to get more people to play it, but few will give it a chance due to the graphics. Which is a shame, because after a while playing they become part of the charm of the world. (It's also, admittedly, a little slow to start, so you need patience to read through all that text.)

The other thing that's really noteworthy (IMO) is how every character is distinctive. It's a lot of fun and quite insightful to talk to everyone you find.

The end section you get where you can talk with all of them is one of the most impactful I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

The developer does something similar in his free platformer, Omegaland.

After beating the game, there isn't an "ending." Just a world made better, that you can wander around as you please talking to everyone you've met.

I LOVE THIS GAME. Seriously, it's probably my favorite indie game ever. Warm, funny, gentle, human, kind. When you get to the library, you can click every book for puns and other terrible jokes.
