Entering Giveaways

Only a few of us, not many.

On a "big ticket" game? absolutely. If it's something that's been bundled to all oblivion, and there will be hundreds more GA's within a week, probably not.

Did you already discover that you can filter the giveaways in a way that only your wishlisted games are displayed? It's on the frontpage left hand side's menue bar.

As to your question: I only enter for games I really want.

I'm with DesertMouse1 on this. Also, I'm more picky when it comes to group/WL giveaways, as people there tend to be a bit more picky, thus the chance of one of those giveaways being won by someone who really wants the game is higher than if say it's a random level 2 public giveaway, where chances are high that whoever wins the game just uses a script or something to enter giveaways.

It is completely normal to do how you feel is right.
I put these games I think I don't want to play that much (as probably someone else) in hiding list. Comments does not matter ~ Or pass on big games if I know that I don't have time to play them in near future.
Also I like to keep my "All giveaways" displayed less than one page ;3

I think you're one of the few who does that, most people will just enter for anything. I only enter for games I really want to play and often even go back to games to remove entries because I'm unsure I would enjoy them enough. I even skip AAA games like Doom, The Witcher 3, Dark Souls, ...

Keep in mind that some people write that on every single game as part of a copy-pasted and automatically inserted message, regardless of the game in question. Not to mention that being on one's wishlist may not mean much when you can see users with 2000+ titles on their wish list.

There are bots as well who spam same message on every giveaway they enter so yeah. Enter what you feel like entering and dont let it bother you too much.

not really i some times check games but unless is something i'm interested to start with i wont enter

I pass on whitelist/group giveaways pretty often, especially if I know I won't have time to play it any time soon, or if someone else shows a really strong interest in the game (and I'd like to see them win). For bundled games, if I'm interested, I'm much more likely to enter.

Worse part is solid portion of the ppl who quote: have the game in their wishlist , really wanted the game ... etc... have just used auto join script and auto commented the same generic msg on every GA for that game .. >.>

So i dont really care to be fair ... i only enter for stuff from MY wishlist anyway :p

make a wishlist on Steam and enter those games. you can select to see only wishlisted titles, but only for public and group GA. not private ones
