I guess you'll have to time the DL so it get's split between two months. I wish my data cap was remotely that high. Bloody satellite internet.

Cheers and Good Luck!

If the game uses 150GB of disk space, the download will probably be smaller, but it is still massive. My 250GB SSD won't be able to store it. Good thing they are continuing to drop in price.

yike the 150GB, well I have unlimited 1GBit so 90Mb/s is a given.

Not in any way encouraging you to do so, but some repacks tend to compress the game's files to a crazy degree, just let Steam or whatever discover the game files and you're golden. My problem is that I don't have the 150 gigs. Gonna have to delete some stuff I guess :)

Repacks for this size will need a huge space for the repack itself and to decompress, I would need to empty most of my 500GB HDD... I guess we will see how it goes.

Yeah, I didn't think about that. Given the size of the game some files might be like 20 gigs large. But still if there's a spare device/neighbor's hard drive with lots of free memory you could install it there.

I hope so. I've been waiting my entire life for a Western themed game with weather-dependent horse testicles fully voiced in ancient Akkadian.

Modern Warfare requires 175GB of space

Not too surprising given that the xbox version take 107gb and PC ports are always bigger.
Still, it's ridiculous. I miss the days when games could be played directly from discs (on consoles) so we didn't have to think about this sort of thing :(

Yeah, but remember the loading times. I prefer my games on a fast SSD if that means I don't have to stare at a loading screen for a minute or more. ;)

They changed the 32 GB RAM requirement though since they stated that, apparently it was a mistake.

Average 40 - 50 fps on high settings. But this minimum requirements way too high than my laptop specs.

Well... I have more ram than required, but my cpu is just a bit under... didn't matter in some games... might in this one. gpu's on the line I'd say, gtx950.

I believe I can do 29 fps so I should buy this as soon as it gets on steam (so take2 gets less money)

Neah, Cyberpunk 2077 is the only one that I do so even pre-order for the first time.

RockStar does not deserve this.

If they could add some demo version (prologue or 1 mission) to test if the machine can run properly. Games like RE7, Shadow of TTR did that, good to see how it works... anyway if they didnt with GTAV, i doubt they gonna do on this one.

Sure, it will most likely run absolutely fine. But a little more RAM couldn't hurt. ;)

Now I can see why gaming will tend to go towards streaming. 150 GB for 1 game is just too much. If we have 1 TB storage, we can only install up to 6 -7 games in our PC. Streaming games will become popular when games reach bigger file sizes.

do the pre-order bonus worth it? or wait for steam version?

Permalink

Considering that if you buy it through steam you will still have to use the rockstar launcher any extra content would be worth it, at least for me.

how much its cost? cause i dont think i see any $ on every article about this i see.

do the price will be different? i mean if u buy it from steam, rockstar launcher will detect that you owned the game (at least in GTAV case), but not vice versa.

The standard edition costs 60 dollars/ euros but in case you preorder through the rockstar launcher you will get the deluxe edition for free instead of the standard one. Also i think there are a few extras if you preorder from it but i dont remember what are they If you buy it from any other place like steam you will get the standard edition for 60 euros.

As so often, without any information what resolution and frame rate these recommended specs are targeting, they are relatively useless. Might be for 1080p@60fps, but who knows.
