Yeah, the base stuff is mostly stuff that a good MobA has for free... Half those features were standard in DotA and LoL before the base Awesomenauts was even announced. The stretch goals look pretty awesome, though. An AI editor sounds like it has quite a bit of potential for some real fun things...

Edit: Also, is it just me or do those new characters really clash with the theme of the game? They look far too cool and badass and not nearly cartoony enough. They really think a space marine fits in with a gangster riding a blowfish?

Three characters, not skins. Also spectator mode is a lot harder to implement then it sounds, and it's something the community has been wanting for a while.

So, after reading this, it's really not that much for 3 characters. I know its a different kind of game, but there are similarities.

They didn't really ask for too much. And there are people you will contribute, nobody said you have to.

Beside, they already added new characters for free and they could have make it a DLC.

You are talking about DotA and LoL like they are not making any money, And lets not forget who develops those games.
Ronimo are indie developers and I respect what they do. They also need the money.
