Wow! Unreal Engine made it again... I'm a game designer and I absolutely love working with UE4
Thanks for sharing :)

Wow. Such an impressive work!
I'm going to give it a try, without a second thought or any guilt over it because I paid for a Steam version that is broken af and that I was never able to run for more than a couple minutes.

Ugh, that sucks. :(

That's why I started buying old games only on GOG. I was burned by Steam versions not working too many times.

It's also on GOG (it was there first actually) and people have reported it works better but now I'm a bit weary of buying it again just to be let down.

I have no doubt that the GOG version works better. But seeing as it's a 20 year old game... I feel like it can't possibly live up to expectations at this point.

This one showed up after some days, Dark Forces and Mos Eisley in UE4:

I can't tell, is that an actual game or just a prototype?

I didn't check the whole thing. Mos Eisley is just a UE4 demo and you can DL It on the description. Dark Forces is a spare time work in progress from 1 dev. So If you're into the first one, get It while It's hot. Disney might take It down.

Man, I would love to have a new pod-racing game that could match the old one in gameplay. It'll probably never happen, though. Episode I is ancient history now, and not generally very popular among the fanbase.

Yeah and Disney is too busy wrecking the franchise by plunging to new depths with every movie and squeezing the life out of it with licensing to much care about the older games.

This being said, the movie was not very good (although Solo gave a whole new meaning to "not very good" when it comes to Star Wars) and the game was probably the best thing to come out of it.

It's definitely in the bottom half of the franchise, to be sure. Still, it was better than Solo, Episode II, and Episode VII IMO.

Agreed. At least it wasn't taking itself so damn seriously.

I'd play this if it was made available. I fired this up on my N64 recently and struggled through it. Old graphics are draining on me.

The best part is if you look closely at the 30 second mark you can see they used the default UE4 character/mannequin model.

It looks really awesome. Unfortunately as other's mention it's going to eventually be taken down as Disney is very protective of their IPs. I wouldn't be surprised if the person who created that has already been contacted by someone on behalf of Disney requesting a cease and desist.

One of the fan projects I liked that used the Marvel IP was the X-Men Danger Room Protocols by Joel Furtado. It got shutdown by Disney a few years ago after only one episode was released. You can find episodes 1-3 on youtube uploaded by other people. Episode 1 I believe is the only 1 with voices and noise effects.
