I made a quick Jigidi puzzle and an associated game last week, had a decent turn out, so I thought I would do it again.

Here's this week's quick Jigidi:
https://www.jigidi.com/created.php?id=io2l008a

It's a level 3 giveaway for HERO DEFENSE, 45 pieces.

I don't know what people expect from the size of the puzzles, I know that 200+ piece puzzles will sometimes take me 45 minutes or more, so I am not sure how people feel about bigger puzzles.

Please satiate my curiosity, and good luck!

What's your preferred Jigidi size?

View Results
0 Pieces (Gimme the link already!)
< 50 (Quick)
50-100 (Slightly Longer)
100-200 (Moderate)
200-300 (Where I usually hesitate before decide to tackle)
300-500 (It better be a wishlisted game and a really clearly defined picture)
> 500 (I am never going to do this, but I see the options on the site, and it frankly scares me)

finished the puzzle and clicked ok, the link vanished XD
some way to make it come back or do i need to redo the entire puzzle

It's good I don't have to solve that one. Haha! I am terrible with the all one-color puzzles, they get really frustrating.

Have a bump!

As for the size of jigidis, I find I'm willing to put in more effort if it's a wishlisted game. Even if a puzzle has 300+ pieces, I'd still solve it if it was for a game I really wanted to win, since the odds may be fairly good. If it's something I don't have a huge interest in, then I'd skip it.

Whereas for smaller jigidis, I might solve them if I have free time, even if I have no intention of entering the giveaway. :P

I did a 500 piece on on table-top just yesterday with my wife. It took us about 4 hours total because it was similarly confusing!

If I have the time I don't mind the size of the jigsaw, it's more about the picture for me.

I do agree that the picture is more important, I always try to make it a varied picture that's also somewhat fun to look at. :-)

I have the game, but it was a cool puzzle, thank you!

Guess I don't mind a lot with how much pieces the puzzle has, I usually look at the picture and if it's nice (the image itself and if doesn't have to much of "clear" spaces, like to much sky with no clouds or something like that).

I think it's a trauma from my first ever jigidi here on SG, it was a holliday and it was huge, with almost 70% of a black background. But I had no parameters and spent almost 2 days solving it. In the end it wasn't even for the GA, I'm just one of those persons that always have to finish what start.

You are welcome.

I do not do well with those clear sky/black background ones as well, I try my best to avoid them. I get it what you mean by needing to finish what you have started.
