Let me guess... Next winner is going to be Blue Team, and then, the rest of the days, each team is going to win once again. What do I win if i am right? :D

You win nothing. We already know Reddit is rigging the wins.

It's not Valve setting it up, it's Reddit users.

Have you bothered to look at the team groups and discussions? You might be shocked but a lot of them have talked about cycling winners on the 2end day. Remember how neck and neck purple was with red then suddenly purple just stopped? That was due to everyone finally reached an agreement. At least the people with money to throw into this thing.

Does it really matter though? People are still getting games on their wish list. Instead of it all being one team ( and that is what it was going to look like too ) At least people from each team get a chance this way.

This, they are giving everybody an equal double chance of winning. We are one big Ohana, Steam users. Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left without games.

Anyways, 30 user c'mon Valve only 90 games your planing to give as reward, how many user have steam? I think i have more chances to win lotery and then struck by a lightning in a sunny day. I craft badges just for fun and to raise my profile lvl, but never mind buying cards to do it (or tokens to steal points LOL)

3 games per winner x 30 winners per day x 10 days to win = 900 games. Pretty generous, it seems. (Of course, they're making a lot more money from the event.)

Only if every winner has 3 games in his wishlist.

30:10,000,000 (60:10,000,000 if your team wins twice)

That's assuming 50 million of the 75 million accounts are crafting a badge every day, which is very doubtful.

That's a 1 in 333,333 chance for each time your team wins. Definitely better chances than winning the lottery.

Only those that earn points have a shot at winning though if I read right, so assuming each person earned a single point, it'd be roughly 30:1million.

1:35k roughly of winning at the worst odds. Which isn't that horrible.

Ultimately, we all lose and Valve wins. End of story.

We're giving our money away for digital items. Nothing tangible. If the games were all regular price, would we be buying them? Maybe, maybe not. Since they're cheap, it's a good excuse to get them anyway, even if we don't play them for a while; just because they are cheap.

I'm not complaining, I've spent lots of money this sale too, but, reality is, we lose. Just the way I see it.

So... it is collusion that explains the team wins. That is just as evil as Valve having preset winners just to garnish more community market transaction fees.

This whole thing makes me sick.

Best bet is to buy team change tokens for the team that's not set up to win today and resell them on the day the team is set to win.
Today is blue's day to win and blue tokens are selling for $5 while other teams are selling for $3. That's a $1.30 profit for each token after valve gets their cut.

I'm not even crafting the sale badge this time around, with steam being so out in the open greedy lately, coupled with their crappy lateness at fixing the broken screenshot showcase earlier this year...the less money I give em, the happier I'll be.
