But then it should be claimable i think (since i don't have Gold).

Works in other countries, but you need to stay on that page to claim it. If you switch to your region when the store asks, you won't see it for free.

I believe all the free in one region games have been previous titles, but for anyone who wasn't subscribed at that time, these are nice.
