so, TIL... loquat is the name!
we got a beautiful loquat tree here, and we usually eat only a few fruits... wasting tons of joy-jelly :D
looks simple to make, from here. do you have a link for a receipt you followed? also, and most important: what to do with my loqu-jelly? you've matched with the strawberry and it seems to me a good mix.. will you eat that, spoon after spoon, in the night, or...?
thanks (anyone) for helping me post my loqu-jelly-pic, next year!
(noice ga, btw)

Ingredients:
Maybe around 20 loquats
1-2 lemons
A packet of pectin (you can use gelatin as a substitute)
A couple of tablespoons of sugar to taste (I like mine more tart than sweet. If you want really sweet, it might take a couple of cups...)
1) Mash up the loquats
2) Squeeze 1-2 lemons into the mixture
3) Heat up in a sauce pan until boiling while stirring constantly.
4) Add sugar to taste
5) Add a packet of pectin
6) Wait until boiling again, turn down heat and simmer for a couple of minutes while stirring constantly.
7) Done!
Enjoy on bread or eat by itself.
Yeah, not really exact, but that goes for most of my cooking :P
