Do we really need a second Bear simulator? We already have Enviro-bear, the most realistic bear/driving sim ever made.

A physics game where the physics engine doesn't work. If that is not the largest middle finger to the player, I don't know what is.

No, but it's so bad that it is the standard measurement for badness in videogames, just like The Room is for movies.

Don't forget that the items randomly move in three dimensions for a 2 dimensional stage... How did they even accidentally add an axis?
I love the game for being so broken that its good.

Being real for a second, it's no worse or better than those half-assed games that Jim Sterling does videos about. The game has a possibly good idea but it's executed poorly and how the idea is dressed up is in a humorous and yet unsatisfying way.

It's a physics game with an interesting idea that is dressed up as rats murdering cats with non-fitting music.

EDIT: Thanks Cjcomplex. I haven't played it yet but I have seen several times that the physics engine doesn't work either. So, yeah, poorly executed.

It was just released at a time where people weren't used to seeing bad steam games on a regular basis.
Being a pioneer for bad steam games has its benefits I guess. It's way too popular.

Eh, compared to the Unity asset-flip shovelware that's flooding the steam store these days, I guess it's ok. On it's own merit, it's a broken pile of crap.

If you asked this before steam early access. YES!

Now? HELL NO! There are much much worse games out there and lots of them. Compared to those, Bad Rats is GOTY.

That's the game that we love to hate so much that we end up just loving it.
