Happy birthday, will you get a license to kill as a gift? ;)

Hmmm so far no bumps needed... I prefer bumps to be natural. So feel free to reply to this comment when you think this post needs another bump. Question: Is Monster Hunter a game you can enjoy solo or do you need a party to get the most fun?
P.S. Happy Birthday ^^ thanks for sharing a game you love :3

Eh, the post keeps being bumped so I'll just go ahead and reply to your comment before I forget. :P
I think the game is pretty fun even solo, but it certainly will be harder to defeat tougher monsters without help. I haven't played that far yet (I reached the "corral-like" area) but was able to do mostly everything solo and the rest by automatic match-making. The game is pretty active and players tend to be pretty good to my experience, so I've never had a poor experience in matching with other players.
I think soloing might mean more grinding/slower and grindier battles, but still possible... I'm not sure how far you can go before monsters become too tough to defeat alone, though.

I was born on this date 24 years ago.
As has been tradition for me since the time I joined Steamgifts, I always try to make a birthday thread where I give rather than receive. Perhaps I have not been as active as before in the past couple of years, but I do still visit the Steamgifts forum daily, even though I usually only lurk and watch from the sidelines - there may come a day when I'm no longer active enough to bother maintaining the tradition, but today is not that day. ^^
Monster Hunter: World
I'm not sure what people here like or want that's affordable for me, so I just got one game I enjoyed quite a bit during the time I played it.
Level 4 contributor level is required, as well as a few simple SGTools requirements for good measure (I'd rather my more expensive giveaways don't end up in the library of some collectors who don't really participate in the community).
This is my first time using SGTools so do let me know if there is anything that appears to be incorrect!
