The first thrust of God, a game by the same dev, also had their keys revoked today, so I'm assuming fantasy land keys were also revoked

Fantasyland https://store.steampowered.com/app/833300/Fantasyland/
removed from Steam

it was also withdrawn after 7 years, but I can’t leave a review, give me advice on what I should do in this situation? I’m most worried about the profile ban on SG, because for games won, but not on the account, the profile is banned for some time

Now comes to The first thrust of God https://store.steampowered.com/app/773650/, Fantasyland https://store.steampowered.com/app/833300/ and their DLCs.
Do remember to file reports of those games to Steam.

The exact same thing happened to me. This morning I received a message saying they were canceling my game key, even though I won it on this site 7 years ago. Here's the link: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/5T78g/crazycar

Oh, now the dev has banned me from their discussion boards, which has resulted in my community privileges being revoked for two weeks. Put in a support ticket...support person is useless and basically doesn't want to investigate the situation. They told me to reach out to the dev's "support team" to request a reversal on the ban.
Unbelievable. I sent them screen shots that showed the dev was deleting posts, and they're just going to ignore the evidence. So they're going to let this person get away with literal theft and then punish me for saying something about it. Unreal.
Comment has been collapsed.
Same for me, but I only got a one day community ban because the dev banned me from all of his game (hubs).
Only, because I (re-)posted a thread where I suggested to leave a fitting review and to take screenshots to have proof.
But I don't reach out to Steam support. They could turn the „fitting review“ against me.

I've started to just push back some with the support tech. But I expect that they'll just copy/paste some policy or something. So yeah, the next step may be to ask for their manager. If that doesn't work, I can take to social media/reddit/etc. and see if that moves the needle at all.
For now, though, I just need some sleep. Lots of work to do tomorrow. I'll pick this back up after work.

Generally speaking, if you keep responding or filing new complaints, you will get a real person eventually. Who will at the least usually remove the two week ban. Usually, the first response is automated, the second response may or may not actually address the real issue, but the third response will be the action response.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, the third person has promised to get the information to another group who can investigate the dev, but then they just said that support can't help and closed out the ticket. So they were completely useless in removing the ban. Unbelievable.

Steam sometimes support you sometimes blame you somehow. I don't argue not much. If so many people complain the game from Steam. I guess someone will see and sanctions will be applied
Comment has been collapsed.
Absolutely wild that a single dev deciding to ban you can lead to widespread loss of your community privileges... Steam should be very well aware of shady devs abusing their powers and not have ban from one board affect your whole account in such drastic way. Really not a good look for them to still be allowing this to happen when users have legitimate complaints and can even show proof...
Comment has been collapsed.
Agreed. I experienced it too because a dev (not this one) was being butthurt. And steam just ignore it even though the ban applies for the whole steam in general. And guess what? If you got banned again the ban will be longer. The dev abused it on me before.

Maybe also post this to Sentinels of the Store

Seems like the group can sometimes reach Valve and make Valve respond to the issues they reported

They are apparently aware of the issue and looking to see what they can do.

I won a giveaway for Fantasyland in 2018 and the key was revoked today... i have just sent a ticket to SG support because i don't want to have any problem with a non activated game. I don't know if there will many people with the same problem :/

I gave away a copy of crazycar and a dlc all weapons from the other account - two red x's coming my way I guess
Comment has been collapsed.
Ehm... are you saying you have more than one account on SG?

Hey everyone, turns out that we're going to need to request and grant deletes for these. Sorry, I know that sucks. I have to do it too.

I'm writing it here to avoid more users thinking this [the original comment that I was referring to with "this" has been edited to avoid confusion among the user base.] would change anything:
No, no update. This does not change anything about how revoked wins have to be handled as per the rules:
Winners will need to correctly mark their gift as received or not received within one week of the gift being marked as sent by the giveaway creator. It is also necessary to keep this feedback up-to-date if the status of the gift changes.
So either the giveaway creator will get a Not Received feedback when the winner provides evidence that the win was revoked or the creator asks their winner for permission to delete the giveaway/have them removed from the list of winners and once they have their consented, the creator opens a Delete Request ticket.
Comment has been collapsed.
No I just got a bad mark for a mod for crazycar and all he said was it isn't in the winners account so I never sent it to him from years ago
Comment has been collapsed.
It already is in the rules:
Winners will need to correctly mark their gift as received or not received within one week of the gift being marked as sent by the giveaway creator. It is also necessary to keep this feedback up-to-date if the status of the gift changes.
Nothing has changed about this rule. Meaning if a win is revoked from your account you should open a Other ticket to have your feedback changed to Not Received.
Additionally you should inform the creator of the giveaway by commenting on the giveaway and if you want to allow deletion of the giveaway/removal of yourself from the list of winners.
This is the standard procedure.
Comment has been collapsed.
I know the rules. My point is should there be bumped PSA thread which explains these rules like one about regional gifting restrictions.
As there is likely at least a few hundred giveaways involved. So users need a reminder to make correct type of ticket...

Bump, this is ridiculous, thanks for the PSA Grez <3

They posted some comments on Steam, but they're a bit incoherent and increasingly rant-y:

Apparently they... sent a bunch of keys to a keyseller without understanding what that meant? It's an interesting insight into how gray market keysellers work, but a lot of what they say doesn't add up. In the first message they say:
I'm delighted to have so many players who have played my games, and I deeply regret the players whose game keys were revoked during the Double 11 incident! In fact, the 4 affected games are works I created during my high school years. Back then, because I didn’t understand many things, I never refused any email requests for keys.
This same platform had previously promised me that they would not add my new game to bundles on their website without my explicit statement. Out of trust between people, I reserved and sent game keys to this platform.
...why the hell did they send them keys? What did they expect to happen? They make it sound like they weren't even selling them, they just gave them a bunch of keys because they asked! I could understand a handful of keys meant for reviewers ending up on the black market and him getting upset about that, but it sounds like they sent a bunch of keys to a reseller after making them promise not to put them in bundles (meaning they knew they were a reseller), and they turned around and sold them individually, which is... fair enough?
It seems like they're vaguely implying they expected to get paid after they sold the keys and wasn't, but they aren't clear at all. The key point of "why did you send a bunch of keys to a reseller after making them promise not to put it into a bundle, and what did you want them to do with them" is frustratingly unclear.
And in the second message they say:
You may have purchased the game's key for a few cents from other websites or obtained it through a lottery elsewhere, but the source of these keys is illegal. We only sell our games on Steam.
...but the first message makes it sound like they did intend for them to sell his keys, they just didn't want them in bundles?
Anyway I got my copy of the key on Tremorgames and it has since been revoked (based on the timeline I redeemed it right at the end when Tremorgames was going down and it happened to be something cheap enough that I grabbed it because why not.)
IsThereAnyDeal says that it has been bundled seven times, initial in GoGoBundle (a now-defunct site) and later in CY Bundle and then DIG bundle. Was GoGoBundle the original source? Or did they give the keys to some other keyseller that GoGoBundle bought them from?
Honestly I don't care that much about the game; I hope someone follows up on this (and that the dev actually does post something more detailed and coherent) because I'm curious about the insight it gives us into how the key reselling market works and what it looks like from the perspective of a dev. It seems pretty clear to me that they were confused seven years ago, at least, but they must have sent a lot of keys out for the game to end up rebundled so many times, so I'm a bit baffled as to what they actually thought was happening back then.
Comment has been collapsed.
Depends on where you got the keys I think. If they are from GoGo or DIG, I'd ask to delet the GA's. As far as I understand, it only affects keys from outside. But if you buy directly from Steam, it should work. But that's just my impression.

The dev of CrazyCar has revoked legit keys after years (7 for me). They are a thief and are actively deleting discussion posts as they come in to attempt to hide this. Many people were able to create reviews first, however, so the negs are flowing in.
If you were affected by this, you should report the game on Steam, listing the reason as "Fraud." And if you're able to leave a review before accepting the removal message, that will help as well.
Oh, and the dev has suddenly jacked the price up for this little indie game to $50 US. Yeah. Insane.
Blacklist them, report them...ensure that people like this get removed from Steam.
