I played Silver a long time ago. Basically, I only got past the opening cutscene before I had other things to do. I bought a copy of my own some time back, but now it won't install. So, I guess my only hope is the Steam version. I do hope to buy it someday, as it looked like a really good game!:)

The GoG version works just fine :)

And yes, it's a great game - the controls take a while to get used to, but the story is nice (and mostly if not fully voiced which was a big deal back then) and especially the magic diversity is great. :)

Thank you for the heads up, Lugum! :D

I really like classic and old school games, I have many of them on different providers and on my legacy computers. ^^

Pushover was a really nice game, but seems like it's another fishy publisher:
They announce that they are the only officially licenced ones for the game, but the game you are actually downloading (and they are providing) is an old cracked version.
And all forumposts about that (apparently) just get deleted instead of honestly answered...not the best way to reply to a reasonable question...

Maybe because it's so old that they can't crack things themselves anymore?

They should answer honestly, i agree with that.

That's what's shady about it.
If it isn't possible (or just would be too much work), you say it and people will understand.
If you delete forumposts about it...it looks dishonest.^^

They should have ported the Game Boy version of Bubble Ghost since that one has music! (or at least added the track to the version they did port)

Wow, there are some names I have not thought of in a very long time :P

Ocean Software was acquired by Infogrames in the '90s (and Infogrames is now called Atari after they bought what was left of the real Atari about 10 years ago)
