Might & Magic and Heroes of Might & Magic

This could fit under General and Deals since they're on a large sale right now, but I more have a question about game play so I stuck it under the General category.

GOG is running their final bit of their Summer Sale and they have tons of bundles with deep discounts.

I've been looking at the Might & Magic and the Heroes of Might & Magic bundles but don't really know if I should get them or not. Let me just say this: I know absolutely nothing about the series. I've watched game play footage and it looks like fun, but I'm having a hard time pegging just exactly what it's comparable to. Any help would be appreciated.

Buy HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC® 3: COMPLETE or the pack were is included. Awesome game.

http://www.gog.com/game/heroes_of_might_and_magic_3_complete_edition the best game of the series combined with an HD mod for ultra awesome experience, there is an HD version from Ubisoft on Steam, but not buy it, it doesn't have DLCs, and it's not so HD afterall as mods are.

I never played Might & Magic, but spent quite a lot of time on HOMM and as far as I see most people recommend getting HOMM 3 . The game should give you plenty of playtime for the cost because random maps and campaigns.

As sviat said - the only HoMM you'll ever need is HoMM3 with all expansions and mods :>

All are amazing.
HoMM3 is the best, followed by 5 or 2 (depends who you ask). HoMM4 doesn't exist as far as i'm concerned.

these are all Turn based strategy. you could say they have some RPG element to the hero.

Might&Magic hadn't played. it's not the same as HoMM.
