I am about to try 120 permutations of a set of 5 characters i hope this leads to a good ID, if not well, idk

Hadn't checked those. Thanks. Ran into a problem where I didn't know whether we had to approximate a special number or not. Whether you do or not changes the answer enough that it caused me problems :) But I progressed!

any other hints for current planet? im seriously lost. i read Syennes letters, found some distances, i can see the scaphe reading but i cannot make any sense of them

i did notice that the distance between those 2 cities is the same as the distance in the letters but thats the only thing i see unfortunately
someone mentioned some maths, so i guess there must be something to do with these numbers

almost giving up, i know the distance, and i know the equation to use, so i need to find the angle which i have no idea how to, im sure i need to use the scaphe notes, but i make no sense of them

well, tried the equation using all values of the scaphe, still wrong radius, i think this is the end for me

so, translated the characters, but there is no apparent ordering for them, i thought maybe im thinking wrong and tried to find hidden text the old fashioned way, nothing seen from my eyes, so im stuck once again, dammit

Turns out that, if I work on something on a Friday, then have a completely packed weekend, I tend to forget things when I revisit them days later. The thing I forgot was that there was a 5th image. So silly of me, can't solve it without that!

so translated all 5 images, the first 4 seem giberish, the 5th, i have no idea of the capitalization, and tried ordering based on order the images were given(vice versa), on planet size(vice versa), on amount of character on each image(vice versa), no bueno
also tried clockwise, anti-clockwise on orbit around the sun, based on images as well, again no bueno

Trying to discover the polar radius I have arrived at a formula of 3, the distance in miles from the tower to the cave and the scaphe, but there are no good results.

Polar radius puzzle was definitely world class. Unfortunately, I won't have the time to invest in getting the true ending. Had a quick look, but doubt I'll get it any time soon. Thanks very much gordon, it was a fantastic ride.

Well unfortunately I can only enter the first two, I got stuck with the polar radius of the current planet and I don't think I'll be able to solve it.
It only remains to thank you for this nice story and the giveaways you brought us. When it is finished I would like to know the answers to know the end ^^

for the polar puzzle, check the clue gordon gave to me above, it should help.
i am also stuck with the 5 nightmare pictures and dont know what to do with them.
I can only thank gordon for this journey and looking forward to the next one, hopefully i'll be able to reach the end.
