A Ghost game, a game where you can make a horror game, and a game so messed up it counts as horror
...Yeah, I don't really own any horror games. Not interested in them enough to pay for any, and can't grab any for free. Oh well

Silent Hill on PSN. I just started it, actually, but I can see why it's a classic.

I used to have the disc for that. Never really did enjoy that one. I currently have three of the games on PS2 though.

I plan to pick that up some time once it gets cheaper.

FEAR is pretty awesome. Beaten the first two, plus the two expansions for the original, on my 360, and FEAR 3 on my PC. Hope you enjoy the series.

Is Getgamesgo bugged or something right now ? I see the full prices of the games.

Don't expect to much from F.E.A.R 2 and 3.
They are not bad games but the first is amazing and the others are more along the lines of average with some neat areas in between.

It is currently on 75% off...are we expecting a 'Halloween Sale' or something?

Surely you jest! Who filled your head with such nonsense?!

CoC is pretty awesome, though I preferred the early sections of the game. That was scary. Later on, you just use your largest weapon on the enemies in your way.

I played it a few months ago, but then I got to one part where you had to sneak through some kind of warehouse. There was a bug that prevented me to continue (The guy outside kept standing at the door entrance and I couldn't get out). Despite that I really liked the game and it truly had some scary moments. So I guess, I'll start it again and try to finish it soon :)

Is that where the endgame is big pharma battling bioengineering for worldwide control?

dark souls.... that's horror, right? (especially when you do a no bonfire, no estus, no miracles, no humanity healing run... lets just say i never want to do that again...)

Nope. And Haunting Ground is ****ing scary. I used to own that.

I'll shut the door, close the curtains, build a blanket fortress and break out my new MLP toys. Then it's a game of constant fear of being discovered. If anyone finds me, I am forced to brainwash them. Soon enough I will have enough people turned into mindless zombies and then I dress them into every character from the show and ride them over the rainbow.

We all know this is the perfect month to break out games like Amnesia, Dead Space and Resident Evil. I expect more than a few of us are already working on some games designed to scare us.
My own focus for the next couple of weeks will be a Resident Evil 5 (have finished 2 chapters) and Resident Evil Revelations (3 chapters here). I'd also try Resident Evil 6, but I'm forced to wait for a cap reset.
I'm also looking at possibly adding Cold Fear to my collection before the end of the month. It would be a fitting title, and maybe such a game will see a sale by the 31st.
