Wow. You do NOT insult the Bit.Trip games like that. They are too amazing to be bought just for cards. That is sickening

I can do what I want with my money. Don't tell me what to do. I can insult any game as well.

do you...somehow make a profit off buying it for the cards?

Bit.trip runner was agonisingly boring for me. Glad I got it in a bundle (I think) 'cos I'd hate to think I spent any actual money on it.

Bit.Trip Runner was one of the worst Bit.Trip games. In order of best to worst, it goes:

Void>Beat>Fate>Flux>Runner>Core

So where does 2 fit in? Since that's the one being discussed due to cards. :p

Runner 2 isn't actually a part of the series. It's a spin-off title.

The game is kinda expensive at full price for some people, not everyone makes a ton of money...

I will acknowledge that it is pricey, but I'm saying that it's an insult to the Bit.Trip series to buy it just for the cards and not to play them.

But even in terms of money, how does it make sense? You get 4 cards, you won't come close to covering the game's price.

The cards will never equal the game's value, if it did people would buy the game for alt accounts just to farm the cards and have a chance at making a profit with foil drops.

You need to be level 10 in order to have a chance to get foils. Most peoples' main accounts aren't even level 10, I doubt their alts are.

That's what I said, no?

Yes, I'm just expanding on your statement for people who think they can wait for a 50% or 75% off sale then make a sudden profit. Card values will drop the moment the game does.

Step 1, go to any badge progress page like this

Step 2, search for the game you want to see progress for. Go on the store page, copy the game id from the url and put it in the link from step 1. Now you should have all the info like how many cards there are and how many drops you have left.
