So idk if this is the right tab but what happened basically is i used to be a console whore on ps4 and play the Shit outta gta until i gave my ps4 and all Equipment to my Cousin as a Gift was worth alot u might think that was stupid i only regret doing so and hear 1 week later that bo3 releases a pure Zombie dlc with moon ;( but it was already gifted so idc i wanted a pc afterall and i dont wanna brag but i aint got Any issues with specs amd graphics anymore that was when i Picked up gta............. I knew chatackter Transfer was ded but i asked anyways i got the typical canned we dont care answers and started passive agressively ranting like a bitch cuz it wasnt my fault and shit i said that Rockstar became anticonsumer and money oriented which sounded like alot but is kinda true sadly but then they suprised me i asked for compensation at first they Denied but then i got an actual human Support Worker looking in the case and he gave my pc chatackter the life earnings of my ps4 Char plus all his RP i could not and i Repeat not realize that for the first time for all the money ive putten in (no bitchboy but yes i bought like 3 shark CARDS THATS IT THOU) Rockstar games really helped me with ingame money and RP issues and didnt shit on me they were kind and seemed like the Rockstar that everyone loved... What do you guys think check the poll (its my first post btw)

I think this might be the translation:
Character transfer from console to PC is no longer functioning. OP contacted Rockstar to see if it could be worked out anyway.
When contacted, Rockstar support initially dismissed the request outright, and did so with generic phrasing. This response, especially in light of the OP's large monetary investment into the game, upset the OP, who felt that denying such a request was disrespectful to Rockstar's consumer base. The OP eventually made contact with a properly functional support representative, who then provided a very favorable response, thus reinforcing positive conceptions of the Rockstar label held by the OP.

It's impressive that you managed to translate that wall of text especially considering that there isn't much punctuation being used and there are also some spelling errors and it's generally just nonsensical but somehow you fought past the nonsense and found the core of the story I must say again I am impressed with your efforts in this regard and in fact I am so inspired that I am not going to use any punctuation in this paragraph it's just going to be one very long run-on sentence and I don't even know when it's going to end it could be now or it could be later or it could be never maybe I'll just continue this sentence forever without using any punctuation at all or I guess I am a little bit tired so I might as well just end here.

For a non native speaker of the English language I got the point from the first time i read it but still was WTF with the no-punctuation and could relate to the op because I used to whore the shit out of gta 5 back in the years I still consider going back but got waay too many games in my library hey canis how youre doing its way too late in my timezone to think something else to write about so i guess i could rant about the fricking wind that is going about in my city i used sunglassess all day and still got dirt blown in my eyes have you ever been to a salt-room i am enjoying the relaxing matter of almost a hour of zen and relaxing and clearing out my sinuses back to gta tho i am afraid that the many expansions will take waaay too many time to download and bloat my ssd that i don't have much free space i have another ssd that gta in not on but i use if for steam games and i am tired of migrating from one disk to another that was my wall of text laughing at it in this late time of night if you are still reading i don't know why you are doing it but can tell you just one thing you are awesome as of the op good for ya boy exclamation mark

You just have to stand firm, get past that initial bot/intern barrier and most of the time, as soon as you get someone on the line who's actually human, problems will get solved. Grats. And maybe use a little bit of punctuation from time to time ;>.

Thats generally my experience with must customer support. Generic denials/responses until you eventually get an actual human to solve the problem. (and no offense, but maybe break up the paragraph with some punctuation lol Bit difficult to follow you the way you wrote it out)

Whenever I read product reviews, I try to keep one thing in mind - most people who have no problems with a product don't take the time to review it. It's usually the people with issues who post a review (or the people being paid to post reviews for shit asset flip games ... but I digress).

It's kinda the same with customer support - we rarely hear when things are handled to our liking (though occasionally when they go above and beyond, such as your case here), and only hear the negative side of things. I've only ever had one bad experience with any customer support anywhere - usually they want you to walk away with a smile on your face.

The customer service can't really deal with millions of tickets everyday, most of them get a generic response first because most of them don't need or can't get further assistance.
If you spend money after the inital purchase, you can always choose the most direct form of contact as you'll be seen as a priority (some support forms even ask if you spent money).
I do think that you should be nice to customer support in general ("catching more flies with honey than vinegar" and so on"), but they would have helped your case no matter what.

I never had to contact Rockstar for support, though I do have a problem with the fact that I can't get GTA IV to run properly on a more modern setup. :(

Damn! I can't believe I read that whole thing in one breath. Punctuation helps us stop and breath between sentences.

Don't get me wrong, I think Rockstar puts out some great games and GTAV was definitely one of them. I also respect that they put out decent PC ports, even if it's usually months later. However, I am not a fan of the massive grind in GTA online, combined with extremely high prices for everything worthwhile, which highly incentivizes buying cash cards. I was happy to buy GTAV, but I will never spend any money on their microtransactions. I'm glad you had a good experience with their customer support, though.

You can make some decent cash on the side by running your own Cocain factory or Weed farm if you manage to make deliveries without somebody messing with you but you have to invest quite a bit upfront.

What really pissed me off when I gave the game another chance a couple of weeks ago and wanted to go for the 1 week Daily Challenge streak is that they want you to play Mission types that nobody plays for the daily objectives. On Day 3 they wanted me to play a Vehicular Deathmatch (the old one with Tanks or Fighters jets) and understandly nobody plays that crap. I was looking for a match for an hour and still no luck.

Yeah, I tried to do the heists but only completed a few. It was really frustrating because I was playing with just one friend and often times the people we got matched up with were awful or noncooperative, disconnected mid match, etc and we'd have to start the whole thing over.

Tell me about it! I've been trying the original Heists for ages and I'm still stuck at "Series A Funding" because with randoms it's almost impossible. I recently bought an Underground facility for the new Doomsday Heists but it's hard to find players that don't wanna host themselves so they get a bigger cut.

You wouldn't happen to play on PS4, would you, because if you do you can totally hit me up if you want :D

I definitely would, but I'm playing on PC.

I managed to get through all of the original heists with 'randoms' eventually on Xbox 360, except for the last one. I've never managed to escape the bank and get to the bikes in one piece. sigh

I've given up on that one. I'm about to buy an underground facility on PC, but yeah, I'm expecting similar problems. Except maybe worse because of the huge numbers of hackers / modders / cheaters on PC. :(

rockstars whole existence is to maximize profits. a consumers whole existence is to consume at the lowest personal cost. where each party works for its own ends is where we find an equilibrium. for us consumers to give up our wants and needs, to better help our opponents maximize their needs at our cost, seems... stupid.

basically look out for your own needs when it comes to products and services you want, because you can bet your ass thats all the companies are doing... and the more noise we make defending our wants, the better off we'll be...

though it seems many gamers disagree, which is why we have microtransactions :D
