Pretty much what Steam puts them on sale for lol and most other sites

So over all it like getting them during a sale, but that is only if you own none,i would have bought if it was grouped like older Fallout in 1tier and so on.I just wanted the older ones for decent price sigh

Bundle Stars is like a hit or miss, some are good, some really good, and then there's bundles like this. Not going to buy, pretty sure you can get this cheaper on steam sale if you wait, and that's not the best sign for a bundle :)

Region lock isn't just for US and NA - I'm in the UK and for me it is also saying;

Region-locked game - This Steam key will NOT activate in the following regions: Russian Federation, Poland, India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Lebanon.

Also I got all of these cheaper on Steam during sales, so this doesn't really seem like a great bundle...

Pretty likely then that everyone not in these regions get the message. Would be interesting to see if the people there can even buy it.

I think they can, but it would be locked to their particular region.

I'm in Poland and it says:

Region-locked game - This Steam key will only activate in the following regions:
Poland.

It's actually not because Poland is region locked region, because it's not, but because one company (Cenega) bought rights to sell those titles exclusively in eastern europe. So it's exception rather than a rule.

It sucks because it's the only title I know of, that suffers because of licensing in my country, but it's a deal between Cenega and Bethesda, so there's little to be done here.

We can. We get this instead of this
It's pretty funny, when I can't enter NV DLC gibs, because SG is unable to see that I own the base game, because of different app IDs.

Bethesda have some kind of weird distribution deal up there. I think Skyrim, etc had the same region lock when purchased from GMG and other online retailers.

No Tier wtf i just wanted the older fallout's.

I guess i will just wait for them to go on sale on GOG,bundles are getting stupid.Still not a bad deal if you own none of them, but not a super deal. Also safe to assume all future bundles will have region locks...

Wonder when the others will follow suit.

I know, but why do people keep saying things like had them free or was on sale...keyword being "had",that does not help me much now lol

I own them on disc so it not like i really need them,it would just be nice to add to my library or have a digital copy, and well GOG would be DRM free anyhow,so it would be the better choice anyhow.

Well i did not mean for it to come off like you did anything wrong,i was just curious to as why so many do,just silly to say it has been free as if that changes anything now.

I wish i would have been around then to get them but i was not, just as i missed the early good bundles, and the peak of trading.

I have mixed feelings, I'd love to get it, as I didn't play all of them yet, and I own none of them on steam, but only 66% off...

Any suggestion? ;_;

Edit: Thanks for all of them, I guess I'll skip it then!

Well at cheapest 3 and nv with all dlc is $6.79 (rounded to $14 for both) and classic collection is about $6 so its the same price that they all are separately but if you shop at the grey market you can get it cheaper there.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I'd prefer to get them officially, especially because it's probably not that big difference either, and I try to avoid grey market. Thanks!

Permalink

I just checked grey market would only save you about $3. So in the end its better to get this.

Permalink

Same exact price as Steam's most recent sales for the games. So if you don't own any it's still good in my opinion.

Fallout 3 and NV often go for 3.40 euros each at gamesplanet, and classic for like $5 on steam so yeah, not the best of deals imo.

Fallout 3 Goty for €3,40 + Fallout NV Ultimate for €6 (since you are from Poland) + Fallout Classic Collection for €6,80 (been cheaper, but not recently I think) = €16.2 < €20.39 (which i see as the price for this bundle, but it might be slightly lower for you). Doesn't seem to be worth it tbh.

Just get two copies of Fallout 2.

Since 2+2 = 4, all you need to do is run both at the same time and they will add up to Fallout 4.

This "bundle" is overpriced, again. I wouldn't pay 20 dollars for this, even if the games are considered good and I don't have them. I would rather wait for a better deal on Steam or if there's a Bethesda bundle with a bigger discount (officially, not grey market).

That's why it is not to be considered a bundle in the sense that we generally think of it. 66% off on these is basically just a store sale. Not to mention that they have been 75% off before individually.

Warning to the Fallout 3 GOTY, be prepared that the game may not start or work "well" on Windows 7-10 computers and the "bugfix" dont help.

Falllout 3 GOTY works on Windows 10 and 7 here. You need to go through some hoops to get GFWL out of the way, but it does work and afterwards the game works just fine.

hadal lready fixed it like its still work and also as its allready removed, but the problem with the game still exist. GFWL wasnt a problem.
