Several I have thought of:

Reacticube or ReactiCube ( depending on capitalisation preference)
Perspecticube or PerspectiCube
Platformible (Platform, Impossible)

It is definitley tricky, Thinking about it, and trying to make a name which is memorable, still sounds like a word, and maybe has some hidden meaning is quite tricky. Best of luck with the choices! I'll keep thinking anyway, and I'll edit/ reply when I think of more.

But after reading your responses to some of the other comments, and how you stressed that you wanted something simple that conveyed the meaning of the game, I think it's pretty good. And not for nothing, but you kinda came up with it first in your list of criteria.

Spiky hell for a cube

Didn't really read any of the other posts and this probably isn't a great name... first random one that came to mind after waking up and reading this: Cubetrix

Hard game: Cube edition

In level 1 you encounter a grim reaper who makes a bet,
"Beat the level and I'll give you a new face, but lose the level and I'll take yours."
"Deal. Hey wait... in both scenarios I lose my original face!"
"At least having a face is better than none."
*Gives you 2 sec to beat level* *You fail* "Hey, that wasn't fair." "Fine, I'll remove the timers." Gives new look for beating the level, but you lose original for not beating the time.

The grim reaper *teleports* you to another realm (an excuse for change from 2d to 3d.)
Throughout the game, the character gets a new skin for beating the level. A timer will appear after beating a level for the first time.

Square Better or Square Face Off.

Maybe something along the lines of Cube Squared, Square Cubed, 🔲^3

If it's as wild as a hypercube in Hilbert space, I am sure you will find a fitting title. :)

I'll have to come back after I have a coffee but as of now the only thing that comes to mind is Six Sides of Death but I will edit my comment when more come to mind:)

Just looking at a giveaway, haven't you already released it as Almost There: The Platformer. Hardcore platformer with a square as the main character. Cool name.
