What type of slasher films do you like? The psychological? The excessively bloody? Ones with lots of startlingly jump moments?

The Descent (2005), although try and watch the unrated British version. Much better ending.

If you want an actual slasher from after 2000, I can't be of much help. Slashers as a genre pretty much died off after 1984.

personally majority of the new slasher movies have such bad acting i just cant stand to watch ;p [this one is just awesome though :)

My Bloody Valentine (2009)

Was a surprisingly solid film with a great story and ending.

Seems like you prefer more "family friendly" slashers from what I can understand from these comments, so I'll try to refrain from adding the more ruthless. Though I don't understand why you don't want any of the older or zombie ones, because they are the best.

As you might've noticed I don't really watch all that many of the new horror movies since I don't like them, with the only exception with the newer japanese splatter movies mentioned above. But if you ever wake up and start wanting recommendations with zombies or the older ones, just say the word, because I am an expert on old horror with zombies and/or lots of gore/splatter.

offtopic Speaking of slashers our mods have been murdering some of these regifter scum by banning them permanently! awesome job guys keep up the good work :D
