Do you accept the quest of saving money until the end of the year to finally get those (or one of those) hyper expensive games you always wanted, but couldn't ever afford?
Yes, I have a backlog of good games long enough to satisfy me until the next sale (or three). Nothing in my wishlist good enough to jump the queue, and so I wait. (I wouldn't play any of them before then, so I may as well see if the price goes down or they get bundled.)

Well I managed to not spend a cent from my credit card this sale, I just bought cheap games with the funds I got from selling cards. And as others already said I could probably go a couple of years without buying anything with my current backlog.

Same. Though, I'm talking about saving even the funds from selling cards

Seeing how I already have backlog and Steam quite often is too expensive compared to other stores, I guess I can join the "buy nothing on Steam".
Especially if ever get in a mood to buy Bethesda games, since they pretty much discoraged Steam in Poland, by making local Steam prices biggest.

Playing games is hard.
Buying games is harder.
Earning money is easy.
I live in upside down world!

I've actually taken that resolution. I'm not buying any game this year. I am lucky enough to have a backlog that is still manageable (and only contains games I would like to play), so I'll deal with it before it gets any bigger :D
But it's only the 5th of january and I just found out about A Hat In Time, which I really want to get... xD

I have done this for several years in a row now. bought one game this sale.
the problem with not buying things on steam, is that you can't sell your sale cards if you haven't bought anything for a year. and after buying you should wait for an other 30 days.

Farming cards made selling cards a hard work anyway

For those who say "sales suck". Have you ever thought about it?
P.S.: Saving includes not even spending your funds from selling trading cards.
