Just one big question regarding Giveaways

You buy the gift, make the giveaway, wait for it to end and give the game to the winner.

You can go to steam> find game click buy > click gift for someone > and then you can either send by email or add it to your inventory for later gifting.

You need to purchase the game at some point and personally gift it to the person that wins. You can do this before making it, or you can do it after making the giveaway, but you're the one paying for it.

You would think so. But I've seen a giveaway where a guy was like, 'Hopefully I have money to buy this when someone wins'

I would imagine that you should have the gift beforehand, but I don't think that's reinforced by the system right now.

I see, in my case I hope to have some money to gift something nice on xmas sales, I suppose this will be the new system for /v/ to gift instead of waiting for dubs, trips and the like; on the other hand, I saw a giveaway that turned out bad, the guy gave the gift to a friend before the contest ended, anyway, wish me luck (I need a job)
