I have about 50% of all games that have been released on Steam, and through various sales and indie bundles I've spent about $2,500. So my guess would be somewhere between $5,000-$6,000 if you could buy it all on sale.

Theoretically since there's a database with all Steam prices, one could try to sum up all non-discounted prices for a certain region and get the answer.

So I went ahead and totaled the amount for games more than $20, and that came out to 7343. That means you could be looking at as much as $26,743.
