Pascal Eenkhoorn heeft in de straten van Gatteo de ochtendetappe in de Coppi e Bartali gewonnen. De 21-jarige renner van Lotto-Jumbo klopte zijn vluchtgenoot Lawson Craddock. Samen met de Amerikaan wist hij het peloton ruim een minuut voor te blijven. Eenkhoorn was de snelste en mocht na zijn eerste overwinning als profrenner ook de leiderstrui aantrekken.

Race Preview
We're back in Flanders for a busy ten days (also known as Flemish Cycling Week). Friday 23: E3 Harelbeke, Sunday 25: Gent–Wevelgem, Wednesday 28: Dwars door Vlaanderen. And then on April 1 Flander's high mass: de Ronde van Vlaanderen. All are UCI World Tour races so I'm doing events for all of them this year.
E3 Harelbeke is a newer classic but has some nice cobbled sectors and is considered as sort of a small Ronde van Vlaanderen.

No listing of favorites today though; I'll definitely do one for de Ronde van Vlaanderen, and maybe for Gent–Wevelgem.
The official start list is here; as you can see most of the favorites you'd expect are there, 2016 winner Michal Kwiatkowski is absent though.
