Yeah, I laughed too. Still, it said they have Steam keys, so maybe someone here will be interested. Me, I wouldn't unless invite credit was paying for them, and I'm not going to be silly and do referrals.

I would rather it hadn't gotten into this bundle. And I say this bundle because it is not the first, the cod war chest comes to mind (vcod, uo, cod2). All they need to do is add cod4 to the war chest and they will have created the only worthwhile cod bundle, filled with the only good cod games.

I had to go look that up, since I had never heard of that bundle. A Steam bundle wasn't what I was expecting. I was referring to a bundle on a bundle site (and while the listed site has done poor bundles, it still does them).

Hmm now that you mention that, I had to look it up on Steam too! The cod war chest is a bundle from activision and sold elsewhere: ebgames (or gamestop), jb hifi, cdkeysdirect etc both in physical boxes on cd's and off sites just for keys. I didn't know they sold it on steam too, not all that surprised though... It seems there is no real need for bundle sites to make cod bundles since activision has created a near perfect one for us already :P

You sure? Because I've found in the past, the games work on both PC and Mac, unless they state otherwise. My previously purchased bundles have had PC copies.

Plus, these are Steam keys, and those tend to be for all systems.

Edit - Ah, I see, Activision sells two different copies of their games for the different systems. Well, that is certainly a jerk move. Most games either work on both, or have two different versions included in the purchase.

Its not a dick move of Activision. The MAC ports for COD are made by a separate company they got a license to make a MAC port. They publish this themselves. Also Activision doesnt give support to these MAC versions.

And this is only true for Black Ops Though

I just read the sale, and I am pretty sure it it for all Steam supported OS's.
Not only is it impossible, as far as I know, to restrict the OS, but they never says they do. they say it is redeemable on Steam Play, and Steam Play states that you have access to all supported OSes on their service.

You can search and see there are 2 separate versions for Blops 1 - for Mac and PC. I agree with the dude below that the other 2 games are probably SteamPlay though.

And Steam probably has both of these versions on servers available for download depending on your OS. This site just aims in Mac users, so they advertise it like that.

CoD 2 & CoD 4 are SteamPlay keys, while CoD:BO is Mac only. This is according to each game's individual Storefront.
