Alan Wake - i just cannot praise this game... SPOILERS

Remedy, i love those guys for Max Payne 1 ! well MP2 was also great but not like MP1, it holds a special place for me. with Alan Wake waiting for me since years i finally am near the end now and for the love i wanted to love it but i just cannot.
the game's atmosphere is again the Remedy formula, loving the vibe, the tv shows, the real actors etc. but after Episode 2 i kinda felt bored asap, i dunno first why but then i started to realize it. the atmosphere was really creepy, mysterious and interesting then it started to be the same over and over. the non stop checkpoints/lamps told you now come some more darkness guys, darkness encounters etc. so no suspense, always the same formula holding the flashlight, flares etc and shoot the guys off, the birds got annoying after the 2nd encounter, Alan Wake mutated to some action hero, the characters i like but started to act too unfrightened and too stupid, also that the darkness wasnt frightening and mysterious anymore (would love to have preferred it that alan would only see it!), the Poltergeist encounters got me really bored asap! especially Episode 6 on the bridge.... the gameplay overall bored me fast, loving the flashbangs though!
normally i love that a game doesnt end asap but the game is too long, it drags the same loop on and on.... episode 5 and 6 have nice sections but i would have preferred it to be just 4 episodes main game.

hey it is NOWHERE a bad game, but it is sadly not a masterpiece it was praised for in my opinion and i kinda feel disappointed by the Remedy guys i love so much for MP1!
