We won't be celebrating Father's Day for my dad until a week or so later. They have a new puppy there, and we don't want to risk her getting the parva virus (I think that is what it is called), as it is 100% fatal to puppies as they haven't had all their shots for it yet.

Around here fathers day is in August (Brazil).

Just found out about 2 or 3 other dates.
I have not a freaking clue about the why of any.

I think its nice as a date but i hold higher my(only mine) father/mothers day- their birthday.

And idn why but i always remenber how these dates can feel very bad for kids without parents.

Not a dad but we have a lot of young kids in the extended family so I can guess what it feels like...
