To promote SG Karaoke I made a musical puzzle, enjoy.

puzzle

Hint 1: there are 122 notes in the song
Hint 2: Assuming each note in a quarter note, and the song is in 4/4 time, there are 32 measures
Hint 3: Slowed down puzzle
hint 4: The key is c major

giveaway is for https://store.steampowered.com/app/359100/

There are three steps for solving this puzzle
First you need to identify the notes and the rests in the audio file
you should get something like this as your result:

cb_g bafd cd_g adgb acfb gefg cefg cdef cdfg bade c_bf fedg cbbf cafd cdfb gadc ccff fdeg caff deff cabf _efg c_bg ddeg b_bd fafd aebg adeg cdbg bedb cabb fdfb

You next need to convert the notes into a octal number. The notes are silply encoded with a=1 b=2 //// and rests being 0s converted the number is

3207 2164 3407 1472 1362 7567 3567 3456 3467 2145 3026 6547 3226 3164 3462 7143 3366 6457 3166 4566 3126 0567 3027 4457 2024 6164 1527 1457 3427 2542 3122 6462

Last step is to convert the octal to ascii for conversion like this I use https://paulschou.com/tools/xlate/
decoding the octal you get

Thanks, but...um...no idea :-D

Well, I have one idea but no good way to actually test it. I tried something else, but got no results.

But really, thanks for the GA anyway!

First you need to identify the notes

I'm not sure how to do this step for a layperson without a musical instrument to compare the note.
