Is it worth it to buy AoM? I mean it's 12 years old already. How's the game play? I don't think I've played this before because I'm only 12 this year, ya know?

Its an amazing game, I bought it during the sale and already logged 20+ hours in the campaign. There are lots of great mods on the workshop too! If you like RTS, management and you liked any of the Age of Empires series then I'd definitely give it a go!

I bought it when it was originally released and I bought it again with the extended edition, albeit on sale. It's that good. Also, if you like this, highly recommend Rise of Nations Extended.

I don't know. It's going to cost me quite a number of keys to buy a game this old. Is it worth it?

If you are 12 then AoM is definitely a game you should play. When you grow older you will be proud of yourself doing so.

Then buy it, goddamn it.

The "If you are 12 then..." it wasn't about questioning your age.

My friend and I had such a good time with this game. I really can't recall any other RTS that we've had more fun with. Nothing can compare with the powers you get from different gods in AoM though.

What about this vs AOE 2 and 3 and Rise Of Nations? I loved AOE 3. I had the box copy before I got a Steam version and played it to death. LOL.

I'm a big fan of the AoE series (aoe2:age of kings was the best imo) but yeah AoM just stands out for me. The multiplayer experiences for me was just amazing. I don't know if there are many people playing it anymore but if you can get a friend to do some friendly matches with you it can be really fun.

I don't understand why this is $30 and AOE 2 and Rise Of Nations are $20 each. Is there something special about AoM?
