Wow. I am imperessed. Our news reach a lot of country. So We just dont want kill the nature for build shopping center. Its looking big thing now because a lot of famous people join this protests too. But ofcourse its just a protest we dont want any chaos in our country.

It started as environmentalist protest but after harsh police brutality, things went south then.
Hard to say it's a Turkish spring though.

No, they are not minor protests. People don't want tyrannical AKP government anymore. Media is censored and acting as if nothing has happened, police is using excessive force on unarmed protesters, prime minister is saying "No matter what you do, we'll do whatever we want."
There's much more to this in the background tho, years of accumulated stress, suppression and injustice showing itself as a sudden outburst. Did I mention the tear gas??

Oh also it seems turkish police has found a new usage for the tear gas they aim the grenade launcher in your head from close distance to crush your skulls, a lot of people are in hospitals in critical condition coz of this...

We were protesting peacefully to convince the government not to build a Mall and cut 850.000 trees in İstanbul when police arrived and killed some of us.Yes, police actually came there to kill us not to stop us.I can't explain the situation in İstanbul all I can say is, police used excessive force.We're protesting all over Turkey and it is all governments fault.

The real thing is not about the trees. Yeah, it started with that but after use of the excessive force the people started to protest the police in our country.
