ESO Imperial Worth it?

With the current GMG sale I'd get the normal edition for AUS$19.98 and the Imperial Edition for AUS$35.69. Is that extra $15.71 worth going with Imperial? I'm guessing not. Also I would have preferred the steam version so not sure if I should leave it for now or if the price is worth getting the drm free one.

If it was the physical version then yes (it has a sweet Molag Bal statue). The game has no DRM free version. The constant internet connection is DRM, although it makes no difference with an MMO.

Yeah, it's not the physical version, just a digital. That's true, didn't think about the drm like that. When I said drm free and I mean non steam, just the normal drm.

Just saying the physical one would be worth it. The digital version only includes a couple of digital extras. If it is stuff that you would find valuable in the game it could be worth getting.

I actually still have my copy of the game unopened. I bought the Imperial Edition on special just for the statue and art book.

Haha, nice. I like the idea of the extra stuff, just wasn't too sure as I don't really know alot about the elder scrolls series.

  1. GMG copy isnt for Steam
  2. For me , the only good perk from imperial edition is the horse so you may want to check on forums how hard is to get a mount and then decide what edition to get.

Yeah, I noticed that it wasn't for Steam. What about being able to play as an imperial under any alliance? Is there anything fancy or stands out about the horse compared to other mounts?

I didnt get much into the game("Welcome back beta players weekend") so dont really know much about imperials apart from their own armor designs.

For the horse its mainly to save you in-game gold and time.
