I've completely forgot previous walkthroughs(even character's class) and choosed warrior yesterday. Now I find log of last adventures and discover that I was playing wizards only. Hope warrior isn't some difficult class.

Hmm, when choosing a class, it says that warriors use less energy when attacking and rogues when doing a check, but no mention of wizards using less energy when moving. Is this an omission or a balance change?

Hi Domazo! The movement system has been reworked - now each class spends only 1 EP per move, but this amount might rise as your hero gets overburdened, hungry or thirsty - so you'll have to watch those stats carefully.
On the other side, the Scrolls system has been reworked too and made scrolls usage a bigger advantage for Wizards than it used to be in previous games:
1) classes other than Wizards will not be able to use scrolls at all until they reach level 5.
2) scrolls now get more powerful with increase of Wizardry Mastery - the main Mastery of a Wizard - and will become way more powerful on higher WM levels, highly improving Wizards's skills in and out of battle.
Wizard is a magical class, therefore active and wise use of magic scrolls will determine its success.

Hey CthuluIsSpy! :) You can choose any of three classes - just visit the website and choose the one you prefer. You can also join after the quest begins, but if you do it now, you can make contributions (giveaways which become the treasures of the dungeon) - it will allow you to get useful equipment for your adventure.

Steam sale started, so now contributors gain a lot less coins for creating GAs. Not sure whether it is a bad thing though.

IIRC, there were descriptions of abilities, skill etc. in library. I can't find it any longer. Where I can get that info?
Do classes have unique Abilities as in previous version (like stealing gold and converting it into EP for thief)?

Skills and Abilities have been completely remade and old articles were removed from the Library. I want players to discover them for themselves for now and might probably reveal them some time later in the future.
All Skills and Abilities are separated into general (available to each class) and unique (available to certain class) so each class will be developing in its own way.

As we still have unique (available to certain class) abilities, it makes sense to know them (at least brief description or differences) before choosing the class. I personally looked for that info to make my choice, but already did it randomly.

In general, unique abilities of each class represent their unique features:
- Warrior's abilities are mostly related to battles, offence and defence;
- Wizard's - to magic and energy;
- Rogue's - to items and coins.

I'm happy to announce that Game of sWords has returned under a new name - Steam Dungeons - and a new quest called "The Legend of Titans" begins this Saturday at 16:00 GMT!
For those who don't know what Steam Dungeons is - it is the world of exciting dungeon-crawling adventures with an old-school vibe: full of exploration, dangerous monsters, traps and, of course, treasures! :)
Game of sWords (now Steam Dungeons) was made specially for SteamGifts a little bit over 2 years ago and has gone a long way since then! A long time has passed since the last event, and there are tons of changes this time as well, including great variety of interactable objects, characters, improvements in balance and design - overall, the dungeons got even bigger and diverse! Steam Dungeons consists of quests (SG events) which start periodically: in each quest you have to explore huge dungeons while upgrading your hero, fighting monsters, finding new items and treasures and interacting with other players in different ways - all of that right in your browser.

Treasures in Steam Dungeons are SteamGifts giveaways - you find some of them throughout the adventure and, by completing a quest among the winners, get access to all giveaways contributed for the event!
By contributing giveaways for Steam Dungeons events you get Coins which you can spend in sWords Market to get some items and artifacts that will help you improve your progress and thus increase your chances to get access to all contributed giveaways! Moreover, you'll get lots of positive emotions when happy people will find your treasures in the dungeon:)
Any contributions are highly appreciated (dungeons are great when they are filled with treasures! :) ), but, of course, voluntary - everyone is welcome to play and enjoy the game and everyone has a chance to win, regardless on whether you will or will not make a contribution. Contributors, naturally, will have higher chances to win, but overall, success will be determined by your strategy, attention and choices you make. Besides, the winners' limit has always been higher than number of contributors.
You can find something to read, including tips on strategy, FAQ and even the story of the kingdom of sWords, in sWords Library.
You can also join the Steam group where I inform followers about my plans and upcoming updates.
And you can join the Discord channel for some extra fun during the adventure :)
The registration and contribution period has already started and will last until the start of the event at 16:00 GMT this Saturday (25th of November)!
This is when you can register for the upcoming quest with a preferrable class (there are 3 of them - each is unique and has its own winners' limit), contribute giveaways for the event (which will become the treasures of the dungeon), get your Coins reward and spend it on something useful in the Market to start the adventure confidently :)
