I've got permabanned on the whole Steam community for "spamming". I've never spammed and never got any bans for 10+ years of using Steam. I assume it happened because I've posted an update from Fanatical about the situation with revoked Overfall keys in two official threads since both messages were deleted. I can't post anything, participate in any discussions, add anyone to my friend list and even edit my profile. And all of my 500+ items on community market (cards, skins, etc.) were delisted too. It sucks:(

Sorry for the lack of response. We having been working with our licensors over the weekend and now have replacement keys from the developers of the game.

Our site team are in the process of providing a replacement key to the original order in your customer account at fanatical.com. Once your key has been replaced our system will email you to let you know this has been done.
Your new key is estimate to be with you within the next 5 hours.

Fanatical.com is an authorized site and only sell legitimate keys. To be clear, what has happened is that our keys were accidentally cancelled as part of clean-up operation.

Once keys have been replaced and our system has emailed you then we will close this ticket.

I hope this helps, please accept our apologies.

Is there any point to not try it? Hard to believe they banned only for posting the same stuff twice. Be civilized with them, ask kindly for more information and if really only double post tell them you posted accidently and you have a clean? history in 10 years and it is too harsh to do permaban as first punishment if you never got warning before.

You might get caught only by automatized mod tool and guess that could be changed.

Steam Support → Accounts → Data about your account → Community, chat, bulletin board bans

Why don't you check the reason for the act there?
You will also be able to find your own recent remarks from them.

Consider the possibility of being mischievous by your friends.

There is no additional info. Only that two of my comments were deleted for "spamming" by support staff. And that ban is permanent.

Steam Support → Accounts → Data about your account → Recent chat messages

If it doesn't contain anything you haven't said in a place like this, it's a good idea to talk to support that it's a bug to be spammed on this basis.

Recently, there was a fuss about deleting 30,000 keys, including the keys sold to Fanatical by a game developer.
They may be treated as "sensitive".

Resolved. It was a little nervous, considering that I'm having constant anxiety and panic attacks even without such surprises.

And now I have to check the prices and manually relist ~500 items on the community market which were delisted due ban. Argh, it will take weeks!

"Our system flagged one of your comments as suspicious, which resulted in a moderator locking the account to make sure the owner could recover. We've verified that you are the owner and restored the account.

Phishing and scamming is something we try very hard to address and I am terribly sorry your account was mistakenly flagged for recovery.

The account alert has been removed, and the associated comments restored.

Again, I am sorry for this trouble - please let us know if you have other questions.

I have used this script to list many things automatically on the steam market: https://github.com/Nuklon/Steam-Economy-Enhancer

Use it only if you trust random code fond online.

Thank you for advice! I don't want to use scripts for automatically listing since I will, most likely, get a few times lees money fron selling skins and foil card than I cold get doing it manually. And, yeah, it may be not safe to use them.

Wow... Just wow. Permaban "just in case" without proper check? Valve at it's finest.

Yeah, it seemed like an overreaction. Will be wise to post less on Steam forums in future, I guess.
