I don't know what the system usage statistics on SG are, but I think a handy feature would be a setting for Mac and Linux users that allows you to only display giveaways for games that are available for your system.

Disregarding that it's possible to manually hide games using SG+, do you think there is a point to this?

Some people want enter giveaways for games that work on Windows and Linux/OS X or just work on Linux/ OS X.
It's not that hard to understand.

There are users with access to a non Windows OS, and some of them have managed to win games they can't play. While this suggested feature won't help a lot of people, it will be very useful for those in that situation.

Dont buy PC, it sucks. If games came on other OS instead of Windows. I would switch in a instant.

True but he doesnt has another choice (if he wants to play the majority of the games), like us. We're all forced to use Windows because of the majority of the games :'(

You mean don't buy Windows. Buying PC parts and not buying Windows is still a PC.

Same here. I'm increasingly hesitant to stay with Windows with every new iteration. I've only kept with MS this long because I keep scoring free or dirt cheap copies. Also there's Wine compatibility, but there's VM for when that fails I suppose.

It would be useful, as I know users who have won games in the past only to find they don't work in their current OS. Not sure how workable it would be though.

Try sending support a suggestion ticket. I know this would help the transit to Linux, even if albeit more.

It was previously suggested multiple times actually, and is in the suggestion list.

Does the "suggestion list" even exist, or is it just an excuse to shut people up? ;)
