If you are not having to work that is, or got kids (although schools are also closed here), groceries, but my mom is too stubborn to keep on doing it herself.
Only going out for me was getting some lottery tickets each week (and i used to jog but i somehow stopped), but you can also do it online, going all the way with a mask on and it being winter, online is such so more tempting.
They are predicting it might atleast last till summer (if not longer) seriously hope not, and how all these mutations can actually be really alarming.
But with fake news you don't even know what's wrong from right anymore these days.

Doesnt more mutations mean the virus will be less lethal ??? like the flu. im not in the biology field, i might be wrong

The current fresh mutations didn't change the mortality rate, but they made it more virulent, so it's easier to catch.

if they made it more virulent, they can change mortality?

When you look at the numbers from the UK it doesn't seem like that is the case.

Well with the english one (i am from the netherlands so it's a neigbour, and for some reason we keep on allowing flights to and from...).
All i know is how it spreads a lot faster and even under kids while the "normal" one didn't, and cases are arising we got it here too.

And with those mutations as long as they are similar to the original they can make a vaccin for it too but it would take about 6 weeks, but you might get mutations that will be totally different?

On the other hand older people reportedly died from the vaccin because sideeffects can be fever, and at that age it's often not good to get (especially if you got other complications), but i dunno again, take it with a grain of salt?

That's all i know from what i heard on tv. I hated biology at school. :p And math, and gym, and well basically all of it.

Not necessarily.
Comparision 50% more lethal/ 50% more transmissable (if the 50% more transmissable version would also be 50% less lethal, simply halve the orange graph):

Before summer 2022 Covid will remain in the world as threat(maybe some countries longer/less depending on goverment and society/people).

I used to go to the gym for exercise, then of course all of the gyms shut down. Now I just do whatever I can at home, it's not the most ideal situations but I find myself always feeling a bit better after exercising to any extent, even at home.

So, Judge Dredd or Shadowrun which one does it seem like the world will turn in to first?

Governments forcing everyone in to mega-cities, for there protection. (Judge Dredd)
Corporations become governments and cities were once hired you become a wage-slave, live and buy everything from the corporation you work for. (ShadowRun)

Then it's more like Shadowrun. Though it depends on the country I would say.

i seriously doubt that large gatherings will be okay until at least october 2021, and that would be with masks on. and with a portion of the US population unwilling to get the vaccine, or even bother with a mask, it may be even longer unfortunately.

Remember when the lockdowns were a 'temporary' measure to slow the spread? When states gave out time frames for how long they would last?

Then they allowed travells etc. again so it spread more while some people ignore countermeasures...

I'm not sure about the mayonnaise, according to wikipedia it more or less exists since the middle of the 18th century, with similar sauces pre-dating it.

I just bought Ring Fit Adventure today. My friend called me mad.

Not that the gym is closed here, I've just always thought it seemed like a fun game (and I need to start building stamina for my summer job anyway). Right now the government is testing this "max amount of people allowed inside" thing to try and slow the spread, it's kind of funny to go to this big mall and see a note with "1362 people allowed inside" like what an incredibly specific number to limit people to lol. If this doesn't work to slow the spread though the gym will probably close which would suck.

I thought about a Ring Fit, but the Wii also had fitness gimmicks and dance mats, unless you got enough games i am afraid the fun might soon wear off though, also it's basically seems like a steering wheel?
Also got a xbox 360 with kinect (second hand) try a game where you have to duck and jump and such, you sure feel that too after 15 minutes.

I probably get one anyway.

Being a bit more transmissible is worst than being a bit more deadly.

starting at 2:20mark.

But watch the whole thing for lots of good info. This is good channel for good info on covid. And lots of other science stuff. :)

Overall.. Yes, that's not good, but don't panic. Its still being looked into, the numbers given are an example to show what this means, the true numbers are still unknown and its currently thought that the existing vaccines should work fine.

Zachte heelmeesters maken stinkende wonden. Literal translation: "Gentle healers make stinking wounds." Meaning: "It is better to treat a problem thoroughly even if the treatment is painful, otherwise it may get worse."

This is where the EU could have shown it's worth, instead all the separate governments are pussyfooting around trying not to lose the next election due to unpopular but necessary measures. Dragging it out is costing more than swift and "harsh" measures.

  1. Close the borders.
  2. Essential travel only, no holidays, no unnecessary shopping trips for luxury items, no leisure activities.
  3. Work from home if possible. Schools are closed. Keep bubbles small and boring.
  4. Essential workers that have to go to their place of work as normal get the evening shopping hours, morning shopping is for the elderly and high-risk groups, afternoon shopping for the rest of the people.
  5. Masks and distancing are obligatory, as are anti-bacterial soaps/lotions and alcohol wipes in shops.
  6. Returnees go into quarantine for 2 weeks.
  7. Scan scan scan, trace trace trace, you can claim your rights are getting trampled afterwards, not before or during the measures.
  8. Think you are being punished? Try dying or having Covid related health issues for the rest of your life.
