I feel like a serial killer

I keep dumping bodies in the lake, Imma get caught and sent up the river

I shiver when I think of the company I keep

how do I know she ain't gonna kill me when I sleep?

I did xD

It's actually not that bad if you watch it with no great expectations at all, because it's funny and dumb :P

I watched it with my girl. Very fun and sometimes funny movie. It's romantic, so don't expect it to be some urban horror with zombies or what ever. It's a very good movie and i recommend it :) But that's just my opinion.

I did plan to watch it with the mindset of a good comedy. Is it short on comedy or just bad comedy?

Its an attemted-romantic zombie comedy. It was pretty decent. Definitely family friendly in my opinion unless you have a 4 year old sibling

I watched it in cinema and it was kinda good surprise for me. I expected it to be something of a Twilight-ripoff/parody (though I've seen a lot of positive feedback on it, that's why I went to see the movie in the first place). But it turned out to be really fun flick: good acting, vivid characters, the story is actually pretty neat. And it aslo has that post-modernism vibe, as it's pretty self-conscious about pushing zombie theme even further into pop-culture.

I'm not sure about it being "family friendly" though, as it's still a zombie movie. I don't remember it well, but I think it had some decent amount of brains, dismemberment and so on.

I agree with Chiasm. It's a good movie, but it's still a zombie movie, so I guess it depends on how young your family members are? I liked it, but I thought the book was a lot better. :)

I liked it, classic tale with a twist, good acting and cheeky humour.
Good family film if all viewers are at least 10 years old. (some blood/gore and a few slightly scary moments for young audiences.)

Me and a few of my friends watched it a couple of weeks ago, and it wasn't bad. The soundtrack was very good, the dark comedy manages to elicit a few chuckles, and the whole "zombies regaining their humanity through love" concept was interesting, if a little bit schmaltzy imo (I've never really been into romance). That, and it actually does creep you out a bit, thanks to the walking skeletons that are much worse than the zombies.

Overall, it was an enjoyable film, and it's actually pretty family-friendly, like others have said. There's some violence and cursing, but they're not too coarse to ruin a family movie night. Hope this helped!
