While not so much anymore as i used to be, but still am and always be a Bowie fan, i was blessed to have been to a concert of his (Reality Tour) later i came across a bootleg someone made right behind me (and i can even be seen), also got some rare stuff like a rare 4cd mix bought for like 100 euro (back when we had guldens still).
And my dad had an acquitance who worked at KLM (airplane company) and had a personal conversation with Bowie, and he was really nice.

He even wrote about his ending in a somewhat morbid (but "beautiful") way with Lazarus ("look up here, i am in heaven", "I've got nothing left to lose") whole album was difficult to listen right after his passing since both events were close together.
