Hey folks, time for another thread I guess 😝

I recently "celebrated" my 5 year SG anniversary here, but upon looking back, I've only really started getting active since 30th April 2017, where I did my second ever giveaway. Funnily enough, my first ever giveaway was for Oxenfree, a game which I am currently playing just completed - talk about a random coincidence! I really enjoyed the heavy narrative, and the dialogue interactions and consequences

So, anyway, I thought I'd do another giveaway thread, with some HB leftovers for you to vote upon. No steamy games this time, sorry.
I will allow a few days for voting to come in, and once I'm satisfied we have enough votes I will do giveaways for the top 5ish.
Please be advised that I will restrict giveaways to level 3, and that I will have a gate (probably a jigidi) before you can enter.

In the meantime, feel free to share what your first giveaway was, and discuss what of the giveaways you've done for which you really enjoyed the game as well, or perhaps a game you won instead, and really enjoyed.

Of the few games I've won, Valiant Hearts, The Invisible Hours, Lust for Darkness, and Mad Age and This Guy were the standouts.

Giveaways are up, enter through the jigidi!

Voted for Graveyard Keeper (even though I have it), a worthwhile game for most I think :)

And my first giveaway was a copy of Portal. Nice game, I bought it by accident (thinking I was buying Portal 2) and ended up with the game in my inventory. Stupid mistake but a nice giveaway for someone :)

In the early days my giveaways were mostly gifts from my inventory. If I found a game I personally liked and it was on a good special I would pick it up and decide who to gift it to later. Now, due to Steam's region restriction changes, most of my giveaways are spare keys from bundles. I think my favourites are some indie games and open world rpgs (Pillars of Eternity- one I am trying to play now, Pony Island, Life is Strange, some of the Artifex Mundi Hogs, even Oxenfree - a game I am yet to try).

Nice. If you liked the campy conversations in Life Is Strange, you will likely enjoy Oxenfree.

Interesting to put these two games together. I first played Oxenfree and later I played LiS. I feel like the two games are quite different. I ended up not really liking Oxenfree but really adoring LiS.
Since you two brought these two up, after I played LiS, a friend of mine recommended me an anime (I don't watch anime much) called Puella Magi Madoka Magica (PMMM for short), and not surprisingly, I ended up liking PMMM a lot just as I liked LiS.

Happy non-official cakeday! :p

I have no idea what have i given for the first time here. %95 of my giveaways are the games i am not really interested in anyway. So can't make a comment on that. Also i had found this site to dump my unwanted keys, I wasn't really expecting winning games at first. :D

But i recently played Oxenfree too. It was okay not as good as i expected but i enjoyed it nonetheless.

Happy anniversary :]
My first giveaway here was 3 copies of Tiny Rails, I thought it looked nice and didn't want to start with giving total garbage. Unfortunately one winner didn't activate their key, fortunately they were perma-banned for it.
Voted Planet Coaster because it seems like a decent substitute for real social interaction, or at least it's better than nothing

Apparently my first giveaway was for Little Inferno, it was so long ago that I had forgotten it. Looking through my past GAs I see I've given a large amount of crap, but there's a few nice ones that I liked myself like Batman Arkham City and Origins, or InnerSpace (great little hidden gem this one).
Happy 3rd anniversary of being active! :)

I've been meaning to try InnerSpace, seems to look a bit like that other game Superflight which I enjoyed.

It's about flying (and diving) inside caverns where the gravity is reversed, can be a bit disorienting at times but it's pretty chill so you can take your time. It's one of those games where half the fun comes from exploring and piecing together the lore.

My first giveaway was The Binding of Isaac.
Games I enjoyed and have given away a few times are - Crypt of the Necrodancer (5 copies) and Downwell.(11 copies!)
I'm terrible at all three games! but I think they're good and they're pretty cheap too :)

Haha, that's funny - I'm also very bad at those three games as well.
I really would like to be better at Crypt of the Necrodancer, but me and rhythm games, unless they're simple, I suck at big time!

Apparently my 1st ga was Call of Juarez: Gunslinger but that was my 1st bundle I just gave away and then just left sg for ages. I can see all my old tremorgames that I gave away back when those were all I could do.

Apart from life is strange before the storm I cant see any games I played before and purposely gave away because I enjoyed them. Plus that was mainly just for the fact I knew plenty of people wanted it so it cant even be counted there. I did actually give away an older copy of it to but I'm sure its just the same as before. Plenty of people wanted it and it was cheap. Sadly some of my favourite items are steam only and I'm not about to be messing about with region lock gifting

Happy Anniversary! And thanks for sharing some giveaways to celebrate :). Another vote for Graveyard Keeper (which I was surprised to see so far up the list). What a tight race at the top.

For me, apart from a couple I own, these are games Id generally not play, so I really had no idea what would be popular amongst these.

Definitely some interesting games with Graveyard Keeper being the clear winner for me. It's lost a little ground with the masses though :). Thanks again!

Happy Activersary (made up word) My first giveaway was Death Road to Canada. I really enjoyed all the free updates it got as well as all the ridiculous events that happened in the game. Every 100 toilets you check for supplies grants you a toilet genie encounter - safe to say I went into every house straight to toilet to loot some free gas and a chance at a wish 🤣

Speaking of 3 years, my first giveaway was also a steam gift that was sitting in my inventory for 3 years since the friend I sent it to for his birthday never ended up creating a Steam account to redeem it. I learned my lesson: don't give people stuff they don't specifically ask for.

Happy Steamgiftiversary(???)

My first GA was exactly 2 and a half years ago tomorrow. It was 1001 Spikes, which I ended up getting back in a bundle a few months later.

I tried that once. Damn hard! Oh, but I guess I'm not a fan of difficult games XD

I'm less and less into difficult games. I figure life is hard enough already and playing games that frustrate you is not the way to take a well deserved break.

The voting has slowed down a lot, so expect those giveaways to go up soon!
Last bump for voting, but I don't think anything's gonna change ;)

EDIT: Sorry, been busy! I'll get the giveaways up once I organise the jigidis...
