I've played through Sniper Elite V2, 3 and Zombie Army Trilogy, so I'm glad to enter for Sniper Elite 4 :)

"Obligatory" is synonymous with words such as "demanded", "compulsory", "mandatory", "nccessitated", "required", and "requisite", and implies punishment if the associated task is not completed. Not sure if that was the impression you were intending to give or not.
