And i got excited, and read the FAQ.. But maybe its just me but it was hard to understand all the information...

It says that the one that gifts should either send it to my email (which i suppose will be shown to him now that i won), or we should talk in steam to arrange a trade.

For now i had zero luck in contacting this person... This person created his accout here a week ago, and hasen't been online since a week ago.. I tried adding him via steam and he did show up on my friends list at first (as offline), when i checked back after about 2 hours i could'nt find him under my friendlist anymore (did he remove me?)

So what i'm wonderin is, what happens after this seven days period? i won fair and square and i am grateful, however i can't help getting this feeling that its a big chance he wont log in on steamgifts to check who won (nor answer me on steam).

What should i do?

Mark it as not received and forget about this whole incident.

Wait seven days, if he doesn't contact you, mark as not received and move on.

Have patience and wait until the week has ended. If you still haven't received anything report him.

So if i understand this correctly, i should wait, and if i don't get it i shall become forever alone and sad (Something like that) :D

And then move on... well hopefully i'll get that game and don't have to think about it again, as i understand it's not every day that you actully win here... it's kinda sucks if you would win and then get nothing for it anyways.

But thanks anyways for kind answers. I'll hang tight and hope for the best.

Congratz, you have worked out the scam! You don't actually really win anything here, just give stuff away...

70 giveaways entered and you've already had a potential win - that's good luck.
The delivery now, on the other hand, you can only hope for the best...

Okay, a new question if i may... How common is it that someone dosen't deliver?

Not that i mind, and yeah thank you all, i do fell very lucky (with my 70 giveaways entered.)

I've heared about people entering 1.000 giveaways without a single win.

I've never had a problem with any gifts I've won. My brother has had trouble with 1 person. I don't think it's that common, but it's also not super rare.

I have never encountered it, so I would guess it is at least moderately uncommon.

Well, there's always a different in chance with some games having more entries. Check your estimated wins to get a good idea of how many you should have won/ your luck.

Check your spam emails just incase.
Then:
1 After 7 days mark it as not received.
2 Cry a little inside.
3 Move on.
4 ???
5 Profit.

That fourth step is robbing a bank. It's always robbing a bank.

Don't pester the gifter! He/she has 7 days to send the game, and badgering them is unlikely to help you get your game any sooner :)

There aren't many fake giveaways on here, and you can usually spot them a mile off: AAA game (usual from the COD series), recently registered, etc. It sounds as though your gifter is new to the game, but chances are there will be no problem. Have a little patience! It's always a "risk" entering giveaways from new gifters, but at the end of the day, even if it turns out to be fake, you've lost nothing.
