I'll have you know I issued a steam ticket and it only took them like 5 days to reply.

Yeah, I had a similar experience, once. Eventually they did work it out, though.

My first (and to date the only) encounter with wild EA Support was very pleasant. The only thing I needed is to change my email, which was done rather fast. As a bonus I asked them to activate my copy of Mass Effect on Origin since I already have it on Steam, which again was done.

So, a long time ago, I purchased the Battlefield 1942 Complete Collection pack. I used to play that game all the time until my old crappy computer couldn't handle it, so I uninstalled it and put the disks away. Well, I got an email or saw it somewhere that they released 1942 for free, and when I went to check it out, I realized it didn't have the expansion packs that came with the Complete Collection, and well as Battlefield Vietnam (which you can't even buy at their site). After this, I went to reinstall my old games only to see that it doesn't want to install (it stops at disk 2 for all of the games and says missing a media file).
So, I contacted EA's support in hopes they might be able to take the codes I have for the games and give me a free digital copy. Nope... The guy was really helpful at first, but then he didn't make a whole lot of sense, and after like two hours of me and him talking and me just trying to figure out how to get these working, he finally says that I need to activate the codes at a link he gave me. So I went and activated Vietnam first (because it's my favorite) and then I went to do the others, and they don't want to retrieve my product information... So now I'm waiting for the email that escalates me to the part where I talk about the code not working...
But hey, at least they don't take months to reply like Steam...
