Is 'Trials Evolution Gold Edition' any good?

Ok, is this mothafocka right here really worth the money or not?

Because half of the community reviews are negative, saying it's a crappy port and has a bunch of bugs/freezes. I don't know, i always enjoyed Trials and it looks good, but i don't want to get disappointed, you know...

Please tell us your opinion, whoever played it on PC.

PS: Don't care that much about the Uplay login, AC series have the same problem and they're still great games. It would be better if you could immediately play without the Uplay crap, but if that's the way it has to be...

I played the demo, it was a blast but I got a little nauseous (but that's just me). If you're unsure, give the demo a shot. Definitely worth it for 5$

Yes it's awesome, I own both of trials on my 360, it's a fun game, especially for 5€ :)

In a word, no. The actual explanation is longer than that though.

Ubisoft phoned in the port. Even if you have a strong machine, it may not run well at all. And despite being called "Gold Edition," it does not include any extra DLC. In fact, it is not even possible to buy the DLC. It is simply not available. So much for riding around on a bike. Also, there is no way to play custom maps from the console version. Chances are if you've seen a cool map you want to play, you won't actually be able to play it.

Don't buy this on PC and support Ubisoft's bad practices. The game itself is fine, but everything surrounding it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We shouldn't be telling Ubisoft that this is okay.

wow. If that's true, then that really sucks. I own it on 360, & I must say, it is a truly phenomenal game.

Trials is awesome, all other cycle games seek to emulate it

Edit: oh wow, I had only played on 360. If the port is as bad as Clockian says, that blowwwwssssss

If anything, the port is worse than I've said. There are issues I didn't even mention, like terrible netcode and people who had endless issues getting the account linking to work (from simply not working to being unable to unlink when they linked the wrong accounts together). The Steam Community discussions are awash with more issues as well.

It's not that awesome reason why is that I was so excited to buy it and play with my friends but when I launched it and tried to play multiplayer the multiplayer wont work and it's not just me I googled it a lot of people have the same problem no fix worked for me :( and that's why it sucks :I
