Have been holding up on playing it for years due to how legendary poor the port is supposed to be, nice that we'll be getting the new version for free :)

i wish the whole graphics were upgraded several time, the game is so fun, but is burning the eyes so much ! i loved using a truck to splash poo on all walls and everyone x)

Wow I thought they were dead after the whole Agents of Mayhem fiasco. This is pretty nice. Now if only we could get the first Saints Row or some kind of remake :/

Nice to hear that, hope it fixes the performance too, when I tried, it run almost as bad as GTA IV.

I found out that I already have it on steam :D hope they integrate achievements as will.

Awesome. Been a fan of Volition since they released the prototypes for SR on PSP, only studios that really care about their fans would do that. Will definitely pick this up once its out (only own 3 and 4 on PC atm) .

Yes! I won the game a while ago, and was able to play only about an hour because I hated the controls and feels of the game.

I am happy about this piece of news. I wonder if THQ Nordic/Volition will remaster the original game at some point and bring it on PC, so we would have the complete series, too.

I like Saints Row, saw the third and IV as Lets Play long time ago. Some Years after i got them trough a very cheap Sale on Steam and the third i played already, makes realy fun. But got also Sains Row 2 for free on GoG some time ago, i tried to play it and i got a shock.

The worst Game ever, the Handling of the Cars and all, its really shit. :D Good that it got better in the next Game, or sadly would have skipped the franchise. ^^

SR2 best SR. And I could play it just fine straight from Steam, no mods etc. needed. Seems from this topic I am lucky? I had no issues with the port what-so-ever.
