Did you at least leave a review? This definitely looks like someone left it baking for too long while they were on the phone or something. Even the wait staff should've pointed it out instead of serving it. One glance and anyone will know this was way overcooked.

Other people got the mac and cheese as well, and they all looked like that. They just have mediocre food. The ice cream is good though!

It's a really popular tourist attraction and the main factory for Tillamook branded dairy products. The factory tour is pretty cool and the ice cream is really good. I think they just have some weak savory offerings, other than pure cheese.

Mac and Cheese from the Tillamook Cheese Factory. This was surprisingly bad. Overcooked pasta, not much cheese flavor, jalapeno kettle chips don't go that well on top as a substitute for breadcrumbs. Super overrated and overpriced.
