I don't get how people can invite such creepy devices into their homes... For elderly / bedridden people, I guess it makes sense, but for the rest :s
Nice prank though 🙃

Well I mean it is a bit surprising it still works, since all the mess when Burger King used the Google Home in one of their commercials and Google immediately blocked the specific voice pattern of that commercial. I guess that gave them the idea to try it out. I mean from their perspective it's a win win - either it doesn't work and it's just a fun episode anyway. Or it does work and they get all the publicity.

That was just godlike genius. Those who know the series and the way of thinking of its creators are able to clearly realize that was intentional.

"South Park returned to screens this week and poked fun at the very topical issue of the white nationalist movement.
On Wednesday (September 13), Trey Parker and Matt Stone's cartoon creation returned to screens with an episode called 'White People Renovating Houses', which made a lot of jokes at the expense of a certain 'confederate flag-waving' collective.
What you may have missed, however, is that it also had a lot of fun at the expense of another demographic...
Throughout the episode, the characters were seen using their own cartoon devices by yelling commands at them.
And the best part is, it actually started messing with Alexa and Home models in viewers' houses (which is obviously amazing and probably the biggest violation of the fourth wall since Hamlet's asides).
Indeed, during the half-hour episode, viewers took to Twitter to share videos and comment on what the episode was doing to their own homebot devices.
Accidental side-effect or intended prank? You be the judge..."
